Please remember that your spiritual connection with God through your prayer is more important than how often you walk. Otherwise, this is merely an exercise program.

No, it is not critical that people walk in pairs. In fact, depending on the area and time of day that you are walking, walking alone may seem more productive for you in prayer. However, for safety reasons, walking in pairs and praying together can be very beneficial as well.
You can pray as you drive in the area where you live, or you can prayer walk the neighborhood of a friend or loved one. Prayer walking your own church or local schools is a great idea as well. We recommend you pray about where He would have you to pray and let the Holy Spirit lead you to where you are most needed.

No, actually the more inconspicuous you can dress, the better. However. if you are walking in the early morning or late evening hours, brighter clothing is recommended for improved visibility.
If a sidewalk is available, by all means that is the safer way to go. However, if no sidewalk is available and you walk on the side of the street, it is advised that you walk on the left side of the street walking toward the oncoming traffic.
Although having a yard sign is not critical to your prayer walk ministry, it does let your neighbors know you are serious about your relationship with God and that you love them enough to lift them in prayer.
